Millennial Voice, Inc.

Hello everyone! Okay, I think I’ve made you suffer enough. I already let the cat out of the bag on Twitter but I thought I should go into more detail about exactly what I’m going to be doing here, as I have more than 140-characters to work with.

Updates on Friends

Later today I’m going to write about the news I exploded on Twitter earlier. But until then, I wanted to post some links to awesome stuff that you should be keeping track of! You can find it all on Marissa Meyer’s blog but I thought they were worth revisiting here, as I am happy about all of them!

First up, Kaitlyn Fall wrote this awesome blog about Turning F-It into Effort on Weronika Janczuk’s blog. She is a kickass writer, sweet person, and offers great advice on top of all of that. Check it out! And follow her blog for cool stuff, or Twitter if you prefer.

Next up, blog about the recent trend of fairy tale books with an edgy new twist, such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (and all those other slightly bizarre titles). At the end of the post is Marissa Meyer’s new book Cinder! If you want a nice summary of what her four-book series is going to be about, look at that blog.

Alright, I’m out for a bit. Need to get some other work done :) news later!

I am so excited about this year! I wanted to wait until the paperwork was finalized to write my next blog post (because I have some amazing news about where my career is going these days) but something else popped up that I wanted to write about.

Marissa Meyer is now on Twitter! You can find her at @marissa_meyer and on her Livejournal (check it out – she always has the most amazing stuff on her Livejournal). She talks about writing, the many books she reads (I wish I could get through a reading list the way she can), and everything to do with inspiration and becoming a better writer. She’s really nice too! Why am I writing about her in my blog?

Well, aside from the fact that she’s awesome, she just recently signed a book contract for her first novel, Cinder! HOORAY!!!
